Art That Hits Home, 2025

Art That Hits Home, Bratislava, 2025. In this exhibition, I improvised together with a Portuguese musician, Luis Miguel Girao. The goal was to play whatever interests us and create music together, while also being free to change whenever we feel like it. The whole performance was not practiced or prepared beforehand; we just decided what sounds and music genres we like most. There was no agenda or strategy for keeping the sounds together, and everything was trusted to our ears and intuition. It's the most successful musical experiment I've done so far, and it was greatly received by the public.

Melancholy & Hope, 2025

Melancholy & Hope, Bratislava, 2025. I've been actively working on music & sound improvisation since 2022, and I decided to try a new format: improvising sounds & music while another artist paints live. I was interested in the dance of emotions, thoughts, and skills when neither of us plans ahead and creates in the here and now, influenced by the other. Can I influence the painting with my voice and sounds? Can she influence me with her colors, movements, and emotions?

We didn't practice the performance, so everything that was happening was a complete surprise for both of us and the audience.

HUMANIMAL, 2024

HUMANIMAL, Barcelona, 2024. The main idea behind the performance was to embody the animal spirit living in the human body; to release the beliefs, prejudices, and blocked energy put in our brains when we were little girls and young women. I performed with my own voice-over, asking straightforward, even embarrassing questions, using my lived experience as a woman as a foundation. The performance started as a solo and became interactive with the public, after which I played the 'shamanic' song using DIY instruments and my voice.

STRESS, 2019

Stress is a play I directed as a final project for a one-year body performance course in Teatro Akropolis with my students in 2019, in Genoa. The idea of the play was to embody different emotions, chosen by the students. I recorded random phrases from them and used them as a lead audio source. I appear in the play later as a stressed mind - the place that holds them all. The music used for the play is the original music I composed with my friend.
